National Pilgrimage

On Sunday 4th September, the National Pilgrimage to Carfin Grotto in honour of St Margaret took place. Archbishop Philip Tartaglia of Glasgow was main celebrant and Archbishop Leo Cushley of St Andrew's & Edinburgh preached on how the lives of St Margaret and St Teresa of Calcutta (who had been canonised earlier that day) are both great examples of mercy. They were also joined by Bishop Joseph Toal of Motherwell, Bishop John Keenan of Paisley and Priests and Pilgrims from all across Scotland.
