Featured on the CD are the Parish Choir and Music Group of St. Francis Xavier’s and also their children’s choir, The Carfin Choristers. Some of the music on the CD has been composed especially for the choir by well-known composer Peter Rose. The CD also includes many well-loved hymns to Our Lady – both old & new. The CD, entitled, “Memorare” will be launched at a reception, following the Mass to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of St. Francis Xavier’s Church, on Monday 4th December at 7pm. Kevin James Cameron, Director of Music in Carfin writes, “It has been a great joy working on this project and all the singers and musicians involved really enjoyed this fantastic experience, especially the children. We hope those who buy the CD will also get as much enjoyment out of it, as we did to create it.”
